Crazy how many people would sacrifice respect for money.
At least a good % of people I meet would gladly do it in a heartbeat.
But what does it all amount for if all what I could have is money?
When I was younger I didn't really understand that most people are empty.
Integrity is generally not easy to maintain, but that's why few people have it.
Money is so cheap – I don't fight for money as much as I fight for respect.
And FWIW I believe anyone should do it – Respect from my peers is above everything. And if I was ever not willing to continually earn & keep their respect, we wouldn't have really been "peers" from the start.
Respect is the only thing that is earned, and is above everything.
