then AI makes it much more possible to auto-organize since now in software we had lots of things we never had before, like using an LLM on top of notes, etc, which unlocked an array of features that were not possible before!
then eventually earlier this year i come across OLLOS and link, systems that don’t require any type of organizing or folders
i want to emphasize on the fact that this goal is never easy, but is one that is non-negotiable for me on the longer-term, that’s why i chose to start with

Lonely as hell
Writing as a pursuit
Everyday I’m blessed to do stuff I enjoy, my days are a mix of writing, coding, and designing.

computer vision bootcamp → on a table talking about building a second brain
then thought lots of people are interested because nearly all of them are facing the same underlying problem → no content in arabic, etc
eventually, thought of hss as a vehicle towards ….. and a note about it compared to other apps, and why it’s not a problem starting soemthing similar if you have a diff vision for it, then as the designs progressed, i started joyfully using it, i started dumping everything, using it for my everyday writing, and all types of writing, mainly because I, as a developer of the app, had entire freedom over what i shall do with this data, not just from a data provacy presepective, but from a feature perspective, i can do whatever i want with these notes, solving my own problems
and then my conversation with people led me to believe that they are experiencing just the same problems i used to have, and that a solution to my problems is a solution to theirs. this was enough for me to think of turning the idea i have of building my second brain bottom-up into a product that other people can use and benefit from.
when i first started, i used to think that world-class design is just a bonus, but then as we invested more and more into design, and as my fascination grew larger with products like craft.do (a design-first note-taking app), i came to a core belief that the experience plays a great role into the quality of our output. so i thought not only do i want a user’s output to be effortless, but also of higher-quality, which could only happen by providing a space that helps them do so. when i reflect back, interface is one of the main reasons either i join an app or leave it and never return back, just how the components looks and feel are enough for me to decide. so i took this feedback into account and i made it a mission to overthink every little interaction and component in the UI to match that purpose of High-Quality Writing.
